| Swimming and Boarding School |
Many of our swimmers are boarders at Guildford Grammar School. Our swimmers are given a unique opportunity to be educated, train, and live at one educational facility. The School's extensive boarding facilities ensure that swimmers are supported with the necessary dietary requirements, academic support and pastoral care to enable them to achieve their full potential in the sport while living away from home. Our sporting facilities enable athletes to train all year round under the supervision of the Head Coach.
Boarders from country centres in Western Australia are encouraged to retain membership of their home swimming club while boarding at the school. Guildford Blues becomes their second club allowing the swimmer to swim for his home club at country meets and for Guildford Blues at metropolitan meets. This provides talented country swimmers with the opportunity to retain close links with their home club and to gain the benefits of competing in metropolitan competitions.
